In May 2011, I embarked on a journey to change my life through diet and fitness. Within six months I had shed over 30 pounds, went from a size 12 to a size 5 and had never felt better in my life. While I went through this transition, I tried several different workouts but I fell in love with Pilates. In October of 2013, I started attending classes at ToddPilates and was immediately attracted to the teaching style Todd had created. In March 2014. I was certified through Power Pilates and began teaching my own classes shortly after that. I love Pilates because it’s a total body workout with a strong focus on the core. It incorporates stretching, toning, cardio and not to mention all the routines are choreographed to music for an added element of fun.
