In my mid thirties, I started having chronic back problems and was seeing a chiropractor several times a month for only temporary relief. I had heard Pilates was good for your back, so I thought I would give it a try. With it’s focus on strengthening the core, Pilates completely cured my back problems. Eventually my body went through a total transformation becoming longer and leaner, yet sculpted and defined. I was so impressed with these results that I decided to become a Pilates instructor. I received my initial training from Power Pilates in 2004. Over time I developed my own brand of Pilates called ToddPilates: it’s a fun approach to Pilates that’s set to upbeat music; it includes strength, flexibility, and cardio elements and is open to all levels. In other words, it’s a little bit of everything, so you can get what you need, all in one class. With over 12 years experience, teaching over 7,000 classes, building a successful Pilates business with thousands of happy customers, has brought me invaluable knowledge and understanding of Pilates that I can't wait to share with you!
